Designed for WOW!House — Design Centre Chelsea Harbour's first ever full-scale concept event, this study offered the Studio a rare moment of complete creative freedom, unbound by a client brief.

The Studio conceived the space around a singular muse: the Killer Queen; a sharp, adventurous, fiercely independent woman with a rich and well-travelled life. A large sculptural desk and chaise longue book-end the slim room, while a hand-painted metal floor contrasts with a deep red moiré silk ceiling, twisted rope edging and low-level lighting that infuses the space with atmosphere and a sense of occasion. Rich materials and exceptional craftsmanship are layered throughout, from delicate tapestries and crackled gesso to traditional French passementerie, hand-painted detailing and international art installations, creating an interior as eclectic as the woman it was designed for.
