Tamarind, Mayfair's celebrated Indian restaurant, opened its first-ever terrace in April 2025, a milestone thirty years in the making.

Perched above Queen Street on the first floor, the 50-cover space was designed to feel light and tranquil: a calm counterpoint to the dining room below. Curved pale teal velvet, lush foliage, and a delicate Indian pattern-inspired fabric awning that glows under open sky give the space a quietly feminine character. Pink and green hues, natural shade from mature neighbouring trees, and a retractable cover make it a genuine all-weather destination, somewhere to slow down over cocktails, small plates, and long lunches.
